The project refers to the regeneration / upgrading of Astir Marina Vouliagmenis by means of all the necessary marine works, including reconstruction and lengthening of the existing windward breakwater, reconstruction / rearrangement of the western quays and lengthening of the leeward breakwater in order to create berthing area for approximately 60 super and mega – yachts, as well as development of retail and F&B facilities, restaurants, storages, customs & administration building at the expanded land side.
New land side design includes reconfiguration of the internal circulation road network, connected to the external public road network through two gates (main gate at the south and service gate at the north of marina), as well as sufficient parking facilities for approx. 400 vehicles, both in open air zones and in an underground parking garage below the western retail & recreation building complex.
Services provided :
- Finalization of the Master Plan & Schematic Design in relation to the spatial planning of the Marina, the functional configuration of the various activities, the vehicular traffic circulation and parking within the site per category of vehicle, vehicular access to the site and layout of gates. Configuration of the underground parking garage including ramps and structural concept. Provision of Traffic Analysis Report
- Development of the design of internal circulation and storm water drainage system components (road networks, parking areas / buildings, vehicular access, junctions etc) for all design stages through the construction documents and preparation of the pertinent set of tender documents (Design Development / Final Design Stage, Tender Documents, Traffic Impact Study, Construction Design Documents, Tender Support).
- Study of anti-flood protection of the marina site against storm-water drainage system of both Apollonos str. and Astir Resort, including identification and dimensioning of the existing storm- water drainage system affecting marina site utilizing robotic cameras, development of alternative configurations for the proposed anti-flood system as well as Design Development, Tender Documents and Construction Drawings of the preferred technical solution.
